Dave Yaden started playing the old piano at his parents home, in Houston, Texas, at the age of 10. He started his professional career at 13 years old, playing in local restaurants and hotels. After 2 years of studying Music and English Literature in college and performing in a local jazz trio around Houston, he packed his bags and moved to Los Angeles...

Dave cut his teeth in the LA music scene playing in a number of bands while attending USC. Late in 2001, he signed a record contract with Atlantic Records alongside singer-songwriter Joe Firstman. With Joe, he toured the country, opening for everyone from Sheryl Crow to Michelle Branch to Willie Nelson. He has recorded and performed with Josh Kelley, cowritten many songs on Josh's records and played on his hit "Amazing", featuring a prominent wurlitzer solo by Dave. He has also recorded and performed with One Republic, Eric Hutchinson, Sister Hazel, Kate Voegele, Tony Lucca, Curtis Peoples, Blake Lewis, Pat McGee, Keaton Simons, Marc Broussard, The Sons of William, The Kin, Charles Kelley, Josh Hoge (Epic Records), JC Chasez (N'Sync), Tyler Hilton (Maverick Records and the movie Walk The Line) and John-Mark (Maverick Records). He has appeared numerous times on a number of national television shows including Good Morning America, CDUSA, The Ellen Degeneres Show with Josh Kelley, The Tonight Show, MTV's TRL, and Late Night with Carson Daly.

Dave is a producer, songwriter and author, he has co-written songs on records by Tyler Hilton, Josh Kelley, Josh Hoge, Curtis Peoples, and Lady Antebellum. Showing off his range, Dave has worked on hip hop tracks with Justin Trugman (Eminem, ol' Dirty Bastard) --some these tracks are featured most recently in the brand new MTV show Blowin' Up with Jaime Kennedy.-- and written and recorded with hardcore punk band Pierce the Veil (Equal Vision Records). Dave's band, The Weight, released their debut record "Home" in March of 2006 and is currently in the studio recording The Weight's 2nd album (Todd Beauchamp producing). Known to many as "The Reverend", Dave continues to establish and define his craft and persona making him one of the most notable up and coming personalities in the music scene today.
